Club OASIS
Working in home health will change what comes to mind when hearing the word “OASIS.” The images are no longer warm sandy beaches with a beverage of choice. They are now a time-consuming document filled with questions that are frustrating and a review process that is repetitive even on a good day. Despite the challenges, there are a few brave souls who have embraced them and want to make the entire process better for all involved. The traditional model of education consisting of hours of time (and plenty of dime) spent hearing essentially the same guidance manual presentation is NOT getting us where we need to be.
Looking for a new option? We have created it for you and are calling it “Club OASIS.” Whether you are a data collecting clinician, a documentation reviewer, or any level of agency leader – all are welcome! On a quarterly basis, we will look at the published Q&As, interact through scenario-based questions, have educational moments and open time to ask questions. Each session will be grounded in official guidance with clear actionable take aways while being entertaining.
Maybe we can get closer the feeling of a few ocean breezes the next time we hear “OASIS.” We can dream!
